Events

I’ve sold venue packages, planned events for hundreds of vendors and thousands of visitors, and created intimate experiences to both boost company morale and raise funds for non-profits. Prior to becoming marketing manager at Mellwood Art Center, I assisted in coordination for over 200 events.

Art Fairs

I’ve had the pleasure of getting to help bring local artists together to showcase and sell their work since interning at the Mellwood Art Center. Each year after I played a larger role in organizing the event until solo-managing the last art fair, the Mother’s Day Spring Show.

Fundraisers

As a marketing consultant, I’ve been offered the opportunity to help manage fundraising events for non-profits and political candidates, from invitations to catering lists to mass mailing thank you notes. I enjoy both raising money for a good cause and planning a soiree.

Work Parties

As an event center, Mellwood does not lack the space for the occasional party. During my time there I managed special events for tenants, the public, and my colleagues. I’ve organized holiday parties, birthdays, Thunder Over Louisville and Derby events, art openings, lunches, and small performances.
